The Services we offer
Valley Medical Staffing provides supplemental temporary staffing to healthcare facilities, big and small, rural and urban. Our emphasis on quality and patient care means we won’t hire just any medical professional. We demand only the best quality healthcare providers for our clients and their patients. This makes our job more difficult, but the health and safety of the patients demands we screen out the under performers before they have a chance to hit the floor.

We can staff from 8 or 26 week Travel assignments or two to three year temporary to permanent assignments of foreign trained nurses. Our foreign trained nurses are the most thoroughly vetted nurses in the industry and their extraordinary success with our clients bears that fact out. Lastly, we also can provide permanent placement services upon request.
Our RN Certification Process
Valley Medical Staffing will only submit Registered nurses who have been certified through our screening process as follows:
Licensure/Certification
Nurses must possess a current, valid Registered Nursing License issued by the State in which the facility is located. This License will not only be verified but a current copy is kept on file with us. Each employee shall carry this License at all times and shall present it to the Hospital upon request.

  • All Nursing personnel must have a Healthcare Provider status CPR according to American Heart Association Guidelines.
  • Critical Care RN's must have ACLS.
  • ER RN's must have PALS and ACLS.
  • Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby RN's must have NRP or NALS.
  • Nursery and NICU RN's must have NRP or NALS.
  • PEDS and PICU RN's must have PALS.
  • Most importantly, if a facility has special certification needs Valley Medical Staffing will only provide nurses that meet the criteria.
Health
Personnel must have documentation of pre-employment annual health screening conducted by a licensed physician, an annual PPD or chest x-ray and must pass a 10 panel pre-employment drug screen.
Competency
All Valley Medical Staffing caregivers must pass competency exams in their specialty and the core mandatory exams covering HIPPA, fire safety, blood borne pathogen/infection control, cultural diversity, etc. The competency testing of each candidate is reviewed by our Chief Nursing Officer to validate the quality of the candidate.
Insurance and risk management
Valley Medical Staffing carries full general liability insurance, full malpractice insurance ($2,000,000/$4,000,000) and worker's compensation insurance for each healthcare professional. Because the healthcare providers are our employees and not contractors, the facility has no exposure to employment based claims.
